Description:
In 2012 Saga and STL were contracted to move OOG and SOOG cargo for Sinopec Engineering in order to refurbish Atyrau Refinery. 5’278’188 kg of oversized goods have been transshipped in Black Sea port and moved to Atyrau by means of 6 shallow draft RORO barges and 40 low-bed trailers. After the offloading, in Atyrau River Port, the cargo arrived on barges have been delivered to Atyrau Refinery by heavy load hydraulic trailers. Cargos have been transported in 1 convoy through the city. During road transportation city roads were partially closed by police enabling free movement. Overhead power lines have been permanently lifted and curves have been enlarged as per radius of trailer configuration.

Description:
Delivery of two large living modules to EPC-2 Artificial Island (Kashaganak Field). The Fabrication Yard was situated in Jebel-Ali (UAE). The Transport Plan included 1st portion with HLV, Transshipment in Mariupol and Barge Transportation up to destination where Modules load-in was performed by SPMT and direct discharge (trailer hydraulic system jack-down) at foundations.
Steps:
Jabel Ali (UAE): Both blocks are loaded by vessel’s gears on HLV Beluga Stavanger on 03.07.10
Arrival at Mariupol (Ukraine) on 16.07.10
Transshipment onto barges Wag-105 & Wag-106 on 18.07.10
Barges sail from Mariupol on 21.07.10
Arrival at EPC-2 Island on 06.08.10
Discharge completed (RO-RO operations have been performed by Self Propelled Modular Trailers) on 11.08.10
